A British dance and circus company Acrojou was invited to perform The Wheel House at the outdoor stage near Uijeongbu Arts Centre.

Special Focus Michael Winterbottom & UK Week in Jeonju

Michael Winterbottom, one of the most prolific UK filmmakers since the 1990s, was specially invited to screen at the 18th Jeonju International Film Festival.

UK Cultural Week in Jeonju introduced a performance The Wheel House by a renowned British circus company, Acrojou, and a solo exhibition of British paper artist, Rich McCor who turns Jeonju’s landmarks into extraordinary artworks. ▶ Read more

UK/Korea 2017-18 Opening Concert - London Symphony Orchestra

The London Symphony Orchestra, the pride of classical music scene in the UK, had the opening concert of UK/Korea 2017-18 on 20 February, 2017 at the Concert Hall, Seoul Arts Center. For celebrating the launch, LSO Principal Guest Conductor Daniel Harding conducted the Korea premiere performance of Håkan, Mark-Anthony Turnage’s second concerto for virtuoso trumpet player Håkan Hardenberger. ▶ Read more

UK-Korea Arts and Culture Conference [ThisABLED]

In the lead up to the upcoming UK/Korea 2017-18, we held the ‘UK-Korea Arts and Culture Conference’ in partnership with Arts Council England, Arts Council Korea and Museum of Modern and Contemporary Arts (MMCA).
