The Verification service offered by the British Council in Korea is no longer available from March 2025.
Please find the other alternatives which offer a more streamlined way to verify UK education documents. Here’s how you can still access validation:
| For Individuals: You can use the Apostille legalisation service or the electronic document provision service offered by UK education providers. Please see https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised. |
| For Organisations: The HEDD (Higher Education Degree Datacheck) service provides degree verification, and you can also enquire directly with the relevant UK institutions. |
※ The British Council in Korea is no longer receiving application for validation stamp for the purpose of Apostille legalisation from 1 April 2023. Please contact Apostille agencies if you need Apostille legalisation.
