A. Cancellations
To cancel your One Skill Retake(OSR) test, you must:
- Review the refund terms and conditions below.
- Request your OSR cancellation by clicking ‘cancel my booking’ on the registration website.
1. Time to test date
1.1. More than 14 days before the OSR test:
If you cancel your OSR test registration more than 14 days before the test, you will received a 75% refund of the total test fee.
1.2. Within 14 days before the OSR test:
If you cancel your OSR test registration within 14 days before the test, no refund will be provided.
1.3. Same day cancellation:
If you cancel your OSR test registration on the same day(before midnight) you made its payment, the OSR test fee is fully refunded.
B. Transfers
You must request a transfer at least 5 calendar days before the test date via e-mail at exams@britishcouncil.or.kr
Requests received less than 5 calendar days before the test will be rejected.
The acceptance of your transfer request is subject to change depending on the availability of the OSR testing schedule during your *eligibility period.
* You can only apply for OSR test within the 60 days from your original test date. (i.e. If your original test date is 1 March, you can register for an OSR test until 30 April only.)
1. OSR test transfers terms and conditions
- Your OSR test date can be transferred only once.
- If your transfer request is accepted, you will be charged an administration fee of 25% of the total test fee to complete the transfer.
- If the test centre is unable to accept your request due to a lack of seating availability within the 60-day eligibility period, your case will be processed as a cancellation.

C. Test taker exceptions and Special considerations
There may be instances in which you are unable to attend your test due to illness, injury, or another exceptional event outside of your control. In these cases, including bereavement, civil unrest, or domestic crisis, you may contact your test centre for a special consideration due to exceptional circumstances. If your application is accepted, you may be eligible for a partial refund, and it will not be possible to transfer your registration. Click here for more information.
