At the British Council, English becomes a tool that extends your communication skills. You are not just learning a language here.
There is a moment every language learner runs into every once in a while. A moment when you think you have come a long way, but soon after you realize you are stuck, hitting a wall and not able to make any progress further. That’s the moment when English feels like a burden barrier. Personally I have experienced multiple moments like that as well, and I tried to overcome them with different methods. Starting to study at the British Council was one of the methods to me as I struggled with improving my English level.
On the whole, it has been a great couple of months. What I found out over the course of language learning is that there is neither an easy way nor shortcut. In fact, the British Council does not guide you to learn English in the easiest way possible. Every course is carefully tailored for each level of students. At every class, teachers bring in a wide range of topics that are interestingly challenging you. A holistic approach to English learning allows you to obtain a various set of vocabulary, ranging from art and culture to science and social economy. This is what I like about the British Council the most as I have been able to push myself beyond the safe zone.
Learning English is not easy. It’s an endless challenge. However, at the British Council, English becomes a tool that extends your communication skills. You are not just learning a language here. As students at the British Council study English, they not only start to polish their communication skill, but also broaden their point of view both deeply and globally. Thanks to the British Council, English does not feel like a barrier any longer, and you can turn it into a tremendously valuable device.
